COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- A Coldwater High School senior was recently selected as a 2017 Chapman Scholar at Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne.
Dillon Gagnon will receive a full financial four year scholarship to IPFW in addition to a wide variety of programming and other opportunities.
The Chapman Scholars Program emphasizes civic engagement, leadership and education for its recipients.
Five students are awarded Chapman Scholarships each year.
Gagnon is involved in the Model Judiciary Program, Michigan Youth in Government- Model Legislature Program and Band at Coldwater High School.
He has also been a member of the tennis, golf and swim teams.
Gagnon plans to pursue degrees in Biochemistry and Education at IPFW.
