COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The recent wet weather has caused some delays in the construction of the new splash pad at the City of Coldwater’s Heritage Park.
City Manager Keith Baker says in his report to the City Council for Monday night’s meeting that the underground plumbing has been put in, while mechanical equipment is being installed in the pool bathhouse building and two public restrooms have been upgraded.
The pouring of concrete has been delayed until next week because of the all of the rain that has fallen.
Baker says completion is still expected by Memorial Day weekend, but could be delayed depending upon the weather. A ceremonial ribbon cutting is tentatively scheduled for the first week of June.
