LESLIE, MI (WTVB) – In high school baseball, Bronson lost in the championship game of the Leslie Invitational on Saturday as they were beaten by Eaton Rapids 4-1. Thadd Herman and Bryce Withington both had two hits in the title game.
Bronson advanced to the finals with a 9-4 win over Michigan Center. Herman, Withington and Kameron Haviland belted home runs for the Vikings. Herman was also the winning pitcher while Haviland earned the save.
Bronson is now 17-3 after being ranked sixth in Division Three last week by the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association.
