COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Calhoun and Kalamazoo Counties are under a Freeze Warning from 11:00 p.m. Monday night until 8:00 a.m. Tuesday morning as widespread freezing temperatures are expected once again, but low temperatures are not expected to be quite as cold as they were Monday morning.
Branch County is not included in the latest Freeze Warning.
The official low temperature for Coldwater as recorded at the Branch County Memorial Airport on Monday morning was 30 degrees. Temperatures were at or below freezing for about three hours starting at 4:30 a.m Monday.
Sensitive vegetation that is not protected will be harmed by subfreezing temperatures.
