BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater finished fourth in the first annual Harper Creek Invitational Monday. Coldwater was led by Tanner Bowers who shot an 87. Alec Keplinger carded an 88, Cam Bopp had a 90, Kyle Herman carded a 92 and Noah Waterbury shot a 104 for the event.
Coldwater’s Cam Ruge was forced to withdraw due to an injury. Marshall won the event with St. Joseph second and Charlotte third.
Coldwater’s JV golf team played in a tri-match at the Klinger Lake Country Club in Sturgis and came away with a victory over White Pigeon and Sturgis. Austin Butler was medalist with a 43, Grey Skudlarick had a 48, Brendan Hanna and Sam Westgate each had 53’s, Dillion Gagnon carded a 56 and Carter Otto rounded out the scoring with a 66.
