COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Fire Department had to make a rather unusual rescue Thursday night.
Members of the C Platoon had to spring into action after a female duck lost a couple of her ducklings in a storm drain at West Chicago and Hanchett Streets.
The firefighters removed the grate and rescued the ducklings. They were then reunited with their Mother.
You could say after the rescue that things were just ducky.
