HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) -Two suspects in the killing of 37-year-old Jeremy Alan Barron of Camden are scheduled to appear for preliminary exams Wednesday in Hillsdale County District Court.
Hillsdale County Prosecutors have filed a new charge of conspiracy to commit murder against 40-year-old Jay Scott Clark of Bryan, Ohio and 27-year-old Ashley Diane Hoath of Hillsdale.
Clark is already facing seven other charges including Homicide-Open Murder.
Hoath has been charged with Accessory After The Fact to Homicide-Open Murder and Lying to the Police in a Criminal Investigation.
Authorities say Barron was shot to death somewhere in Hillsdale County February 8, 2017. His body was placed in a field off of Dimmers Road in Camden Township before it was discovered by some Amish children riding their horses April 2, 2017.
The preliminary exams are to determine if there is enough probable cause to bound the cases over to Hillsdale County Circuit Court for trial.
