COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education formally accepted the resignation of Max Larsen Elementary School Principal Dr. Shawn Bishop on Monday night after he was recently hired as the new Superintendent of the Harbor Beach School District.
The Harbor Beach School Board approved a contract agreement between the district and Bishop three weeks ago.
Bishop was hired as the principal at Max Larsen in June 2014.
The opening for the Max Larsen principal’s position is one of three administrative positions that have opened up in recent weeks.
The Legg Middle School Assistant Principal position along the district’s Athletic Director job need to be filled with the upcoming retirement of Dianne Vanderhout.
