COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Some environmentalists and atheists are upset by comments made by Congressman Tim Walberg during one of his “coffee hours” at Coldwater City Hall on May 26th.
But the 7th District Republican Congressman is standing by his comments.
Walberg said during the Coldwater meeting that, if climate change is real, God will fix it. He reaffirmed those comments this week with syndicated radio talk show host Michael Patrick Shiels.
Walberg, who is a former pastor, also clarified that God would guide people if the planet is under threat and has done so in the past.
