BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – For the second straight year, the post season for the Coldwater girls soccer team ended in the district finals at the hands of Marshall. The Redhawks beat the Lady Cardinals 8-0 Saturday at Harper Creek High School. The game ended with 52 seconds to play ont he mercy rule.
Audrey Hall made 11 saves on goal, while Whitney Johnson made 3 saves. Coldwater finished the season with a 6-11-3 record.
Marshall advances to the regional semi finals Tuesday at Plainwell High School and will face Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.
