THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – It maybe called Clear Lake near Three Rivers but its water is murky and that is hampering divers as they look for a the body of a 23-year-old woman.
Authorities say the woman presumably fell or jumped off a pontoon boat about 100 feet off shore late Saturday afternoon.
A 911 call was made at about 5:30 p.m. that the woman had been on the boat but disappeared.
Divers searched until darkness fell Saturday night. The search resumed Sunday morning.
Authorities are calling the search for the woman a recovery operation.
