COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A case of indecent exposure over the weekend in Coldwater caught the eye of city police. Officers on routine patrol discovered a car parked in the street in front of home on Jackson Street just south of U.S. 12 around 4:50 a.m. Saturday.
Police said a 26-year old Coldwater man who was nearly naked and a 27-year old woman from southeast Branch County without any clothes on, were found apparently intoxicated, inside the vehicle. According to officers, the male was somewhat uncooperative prior to his arrest.
The couple was taken into custody on indecent exposure charges with the man also booked at the Branch County jail on a charge of possession of marijuana. They were released from jail after each posted a $2,500 bond. Their names were witheld by police pending their District Court arraignment scheduled for July 7, 2017.
