COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Even though no watches or warnings were issued by the National Weather Service, the storms that rolled through the area Monday evening caused a few problems.
National Weather Service observers reported half inch hail along with heavy rain in Jonesville.
Thunderstorm wind gusts of between 30 and 40 miles an hour knocked down power lines and caused a tree to fall onto a car about a mile south of Three Rivers.
Aside from a few trees getting knocked down, no serious weather issues were reported in Branch County.
