COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A super busy last Saturday in June across Branch County is packed with activities including The Corner Farmers’ Market. It’s the beginning of the third annual farmer’s market during the summer on the four corners in downtown Coldwater.
Georgia Balsley is a member of the farmer’s market committee and says one of their goals is to preserve America’s rural livelihoods and farmland by bringing in local farmers and help them market their products in the community. Balsley, the former owner of Earthroots in downtown Coldwater, spoke yesterday at the meeting of the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club.
The Corner Farmers’ Market happens on Saturdays 9:00 a.m.until 1:00 p.m. from the last weekend in June through the second week in September. There’s more information available online at www.TheCornerFarmersMarket.com and also on Facebook.
