COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It did not take vandals very long to damage the newly opened Rotary Splash Park in Heritage Park.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday nights City Council meeting that the newly renovated restrooms have been “trashed”.
He says the soap dispensers have been emptied and paper towels have been used to plug up the toilets.
In addition, people have behind trash, cigarette butts and other litter around the splash pad.
Baker says it is extremely disappointing to see something so nice be treated so poorly.
The city is asking for everyone’s help in keeping the park clean and to report any problems you may see.
