COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In 24 hours filled with music, entertainment, a large auction, and lots of walking, 15 teams raised over $57,000 at the 2017 Branch County relay for Life over the weekend.
The American Cancer Society fundraising event was held at the Branch Coutny Fairgrounds. It kicked off Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and finished up Sunday morning. It was the 20th anniversary for the local event.
According to Relay for Life co-chairman Paul Bair, an upcoming golf outing should help push the fundraising total to $60,000 for 2017.
