COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Scholarships totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars were awarded this spring to graduating Branch County high school students. One of them was profiled at Wednesday’s meeting of the Coldwater Early Bird Exchange Club.
Madisen Fox was a member of the Coldwater High School Class of 2017 and the recipient of a $500 dollar scholarship from the Club. She said yesterday morning at the meeting that she will be attending Trine University with plans for a teaching career in elementary and special education. Fox participated in the Branch Area Careers Center student teacher program, instructing first, second and fourth graders. She was presented a check for the scholarship Wednesday by Early Bird Exchange Club member David Foust.
$500 scholarships from the Club were also presented to Gracen Yates from Coldwater High School and Alexandra Fisk of Union City High School.
