COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Association of REALTORS® held their 3rd annual luncheon food drive this past Wednesday.
The goal was to fill a van full of non-perishable food for the Sonshine Pantry in Quincy. This year, members filled a van and two pickup trucks with food which totaled over 1,400 pounds.
They also raised over $250 in cash. The event was sponsored by Heather Kiomento and Jason O’Neal of Apollo Mortgage and was held at the Broadway Grille.
Once the meeting was adjourned, members delivered the food to the pantry.
This event is the REALTORS® way of helping to curb summer hunger when there is no school breakfast or lunch programs available.
