READING, MI (WTVB) – A Bellevue man is being held in the Hillsdale County Jail on numerous charges after the Michigan State Police says he resisted law enforcement on Sunday in Reading.
Troopers say they initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an improper license plate.
They report 24 year old Cody James Ormsbee did not have a license on his person.He resisted after being placed in handcuffs.
State Police say an investigation revealed the Ormsbee was allegedly in possession of suspected methamphetamine as well as having a forged license plate.
He was also accused of driving while his license was suspended and Ormsbee was wanted on several valid warrants out of Hillsdale County.
