COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan State University Extension District Coordinator Julie Pioch told The Branch County Board of Commissioners on Thursday that two new staff members will start work over the next couple of months.
A new swine educator will start next week while a dairy educator starts at the end of summer.
The Clemens facility which will open in about two months is one of the reasons a swine educator is being brought in by MSU Extension.
Pioch said local 4-H numbers are still strong with 166 area volunteers and 824 youngsters enrolled.
