ALLEN, MI (WTVB) – Two Quincy residents were among three persons injured late Sunday night when a horse went through a vehicle’s windshield in Hillsdale County’s Allen Township.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened at about 11:35pm on Jonesville Road near Thompson Road.
64-year-old Harlin Miller and his 63-year-old passenger Janie Linda Miller were traveling west on Jonesville Road when a horse pulling an eastbound buggy jumped into the west bound lane and went through Miller’s windshield.
Harlin Miller sought his own treatment while Janie Miller was taken to the Community Health Center of Branch County by the Reading Emergency Unit.
The driver of the horse and buggy also sought his own treatment.
The accident is still under investigation.
