COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Wage and benefit amendments in contracts for this fiscal year with the Coldwater Education Association and the Coldwater Education Support Personnel Association were approved Monday night by the Coldwater Board of Education.
Superintendent Terry Boguth said the raises would help cover increases in insurance costs.
She said there was a one percent on schedule pay increase along with a one percent off schedule increase that would be given out as a lump sum payment in December. Members of the two unions would pay 20 percent of their insurance.
The two union contracts were three year deals that are scheduled to expire next year.
A recommendation to grant the same pay adjustments for all non C.E.S.P.A. members was also approved by the board.
Also approved was a title change for Amanda Miller from Director of State and Federal Programs to Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction.
