COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The security detail at the Branch County Courthouse is going to be down one officer for while.
Branch County Sheriff John Pollack told the Branch County Commissioners Monday that Officer Carl Sevidal will be out for awhile due to illness.
That means while newly hired part time security officers Rod Olney and Mark Miller will be getting more work than originally planned.
Pollack also reported it was another busy weekend for his deputies. They had to be called in twice for nine hours of overtime to handle all of the calls that came in.
