COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Planning Director Dean Walrack says there were mixed reviews Friday as members of the public provided comments on future plans for the Chandler Plaza Parking lot at the offices of the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce.
Walrack says they are looking at conforming to long range M-DOT plans concerning the closing of access to the parking lot off of Division Street.
He said the concept they are looking at now focuses on handling storm water through a series of vegetation medians and rain gardens.
Walrack points out nothing has been finalized adding a lot of the comments from the public will be included in the final design of the parking lot and the infrastructure underneath.
Walrack is hoping the project would be ready for bidding in October with work taking place in 2018.
