COLDWATER, MI – The Coldwater Cardinal Athletic Booster Club will host its 17th annual Dave Storrs Memorial Golf Outing and Dinner Monday, August 7, 2017 at the Coldwater Golf Course.The boosters have contributed over $170,000 worth of equipment and facility improvements for Coldwater High School and Legg Middle School in just the past five years. Every sport is directly impacted by the fundraising efforts of this organization, and proceeds from the golf outing will help fund future projects for Coldwater athletics.
Southern Michigan Bank and Trust (SMB&T) will once again be the official corporate sponsor for theevent, as it has since 2005. “We are proud to continue our partnership with the Cardinal Athletic Booster Club,” said John Castle, Chairman and CEO of Southern Michigan Bank & Trust. “Athletic programs help inspire our youth and build support within the community. We want to do our part to preserve and grow these traditions for years to come.”
The outing will be limited to the first 30 teams that register for the event. The cost per player is $125, which includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, cart, dinner, player goody bags and a dozen premium golf balls. An auction and raffle will be held afterward.
