COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Governor Rick Snyder and U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow are expected to be among the dignitaries on hand Saturday morning when the Clemens Food Group holds its Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting event.
Other state and local dignitaries are expected to attend the invitation only event. Saturday’s ribbon cutting and factory tours will not be open to the public.
Nearly 1,500 people are expected to attend.
Coldater City Manager Keith Baker says in his report for Monday’s City Council meeting that the police and fire departments are engaged in public safety planning and traffic control.
He adds the Municipal Services Department will be working to make the city look its best and other staff will be giving tours or supporting the various events taking place next weekend.
