COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – One of the four young suspects charged in connection with eight break ins that took place a week before last Christmas on the east side of Coldwater Lake was ordered to serve time in the Michigan Department of Corrections Boot Camp program Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
19-year-old Teagan Ann Marie Geidel of Coldwater had earlier entered guilty pleas to five counts of third degree home invasion.
Four other cases were dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for the guilty pleas.
Geidel was also placed on probation for three years. She will be incarcerated in the Branch County Jail until her time in the boot camp program begins.
After she completes boot camp, Geidel will be electronically monitored.
Restitution will also have to paid by Geidel.
The four suspects were arrested following an investigation by the Michigan State Police.
