MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball Tuesday, Union City split their tri-match, losing to Marshall 2-0 (25-16, 25-8), but beating Stockbridge 2-0 (25-16, 25-21)
Allison Adams had seven assists for the Chargers while Lillian Bambacht and Bracy Swift both had six kills. Swift also had four digs while Sydney Falkner had four aces.
Coldwater’s volleyball matches against Adrian scheduled for Thursday night have been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, August 30, 2017 as part of a tri-match with Parchment involving the varsity and junior varsity teams only. This will now be Parents Night and Youth Night. Participants in this summers volleyball camp are being asked to wear their camp t-shirts to get in for free.
Cross Country—
Union City’s boys finished ninth at the Three Rivers Big Hill Meet on Tuesday. Chase Hurley finished 28th for the Chargers. Marshall swept the team titles.
