COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – As preparations continue for the takeover of the Community Health Center of Branch County by ProMedica January 1, 2018, Health Center President and Chief Executive Officer Randy DeGroot reported during Monday’s board meeting that nominations for future board members will be presented next month.
A nominating committee of the board recently met to outline the process for development of the board which will be known as the ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital board.
DeGroot also reported that the general surgery practice of Doctor Jessica Bartock opened last Monday in the Medical Specialties East building.
In addition, he said the Great Hospice Duck Race Committee presented the hospital with a check for $38,000 for hospice patient needs. The money was raised from the annual event which was held in June at Waterworks Park.
