COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Community Schools Superintendent Terry Boguth told the school board Monday night that it looks like enrollment in the district will be going up this year by about 40 students.
Boguth said she was hesitant to give out any specific numbers at this time, but Coldwater High School Principal Bill Milnes said Tuesday enrollment at the high school is at 970, the highest it’s been since he has been principal.
Enrollment in the district was over 2,800 students last year, which was a 141 student increase from the previous year.
It also reversed a trend of dropping enrollment in seven of the previous eight years.
