ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The Angola Police and Fire Departments have asked the public to provide information following an August 30, 2017 fire that destroyed a three story home in the 600 block of West Pleasant.
The fire is considered suspicious and it remains under investigation.
The home collapsed in the fire. Damages were estimated at $130,000.
Investigators think there was some type of activity going on at the Nature Park before the fire broke out. In addition, there was a vehicle in the area driving without headlights.
It took firefighters from Angola and four other departments about an hour to get the flames under control.
No one was in the structure and there were no injuries as the home was being remodeled.
About 110,000 gallons of water had to be used to put the fire out.
