MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In high schol volleyball, Coldwater opened Interstate 8 Conference play Wednesday night by defeating the sixth ranked team in Class B on their home court. The Cardinals won at Marshall 3-0 by scores of 25-7, 26-24 and 25-23.

*Tyler Scheid led Coldwater with 12 kills, also led with 4 aces, and led with 3 blocks
*Malorie Rzepka had 9 kills and 3 aces
*Jasmine Wellet had 7 kills and 12 digs
*Jamie Wellet led in assists with 14, had 11 digs, and 4 kills
*Drue Mullin led in digs with 15
*Samantha Rodesiler had 5 kills
*Ellory Farmer and Olivia Foley each dished out 9 assists
Coldwater’s record is now 15-2-2. They play again Saturday at the Portage Northern Tournament.
