ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – The Indiana State Police now say the damage done to a passing semi on the I80/90 Toll Road east of the Angola exit just after midnight September 23, 2017 was not caused by a bullet.
Troopers think it was a hard projectile such as a rock or a piece of concrete that may have come from an overpass. The incident under investigation happened near the 146.5 mile marker.
The semi driver reported seeing two flashes of light from an overpass before his windshield shattered.
The public is reminded that if they see suspicious activity on any highway overpass to call 911.
