COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – In girls high school volleyball, Coldwater improved to 5-0 in the Interstate 8 Conference and 36-3-3 overall as they defeated Jackson Lumen Christi. The match was part of their fundraising night “Fight the Fight, Find a Cure for Cancer”.
Jasmine Wellet led the team in kills with 10, as well as digs with 10, and added 2 blocks. Ellory Farmer led in assists with 11, had 7 kills and 6 digs, Malorie Rzepka had 6 kills, Drue Mullin and Izzy Foley each had 7 digs, Anna Tappenden had 4 kills, Olivia Foley had 10 assists, Jamie Wellet had 10 assists and 6 digs, and Tyler Scheid, Kaci White, and Sam Rodesiler each added 3 kills
Our McDonald’s Player of the Match was Coldwater middle hitter Kaci White.
Coldwater plays again Saturday at the Jenison Tournament
