COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has scheduled an October 24 open house to present information about the 2018 repaving project of the I-69 Business Loop .
The open house will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Henry L. Brown Municipal Building.
The I-69 Business Loop includes Fenn and Angola Roads, as well as Clay and Division Streets and a portion of Marshall Street.
The project includes a conversion from four lanes to three and the reconstruction of the Indiana Northeastern Railroad crossing.
The traffic signal at the intersection of Clay Street and Garfield Avenue will also be modernized.
MDOT will need to acquire a very small right-of-way parcel from a property eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places to accommodate traffic signal safety improvements.
