UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The final preparations are underway as the Union City Village Office and Police Department will soon be moving into new office spaces.
The new sign is up at the Ivan Boynton Municipal Office Building at 101 South Broadway where the Village Office and Police Department will be located starting October 30, 2017. The village’s Facebook page says the new entrance ramp for the Village Office will be poured later this week and interior work is being finished up.
An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held once all of the work is done.
In addition, Schweitzer Construction has completed the principal work on the Rick Mears Amphitheater in Heritage Cultural Park. Work started in late July and a video of the construction has been posted on the village Facebook page.
