BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Interstate 8 champion Harper Creek is one game away from making its first-ever appearance at the MHSAA Finals, as the Beavers scored 16 unanswered 4th quarter points to turn a 13-0 deficit into a 16-13 win against visiting East Lansing in a Division 3 Regional Final. The 12-0 Beavers will face the winner of today’s game between DeWitt and Muskegon next weekend. It will be the fifth semifinal appearance in program history for Harper Creek.
Also last night, Saugatuck eliminated Cassopolis 7-6 in a Division 7 Regional Final.
