COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys basketball teams faced Marshall Monday night, with both of the eighth grade teams winning while the two seventh grade teams lost.
The 8th Grade A team is now 4-0 after they defeated Marshall 59-48. Ethan Crabtree and Brandon Downs both scored 14 points. Owen Tom and Downs both grabbed four rebounds.
The 8th Grade B team defeated Marshall 42-34. Gavin Budd scored 13 points while Jett Galloway had 10 points. Dawson Sharpley and Kyle Sheppard both had five rebounds.
The 7th Grade A team lost to Marshall 52-38. Elijah Sloan had 14 points while Donte Work scored 12 points.
The 7th Grade B team lost to Marshall 40-10. Hamid Abdulla led the team in scoring with six points. He also had five steals and eight rebounds. Alex Robey had eight rebounds.
