COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – An Indiana man who was arrested on numerous charges following a traffic stop by the Michigan State Police on I-69 near Dorrance Road has been bound over for trial in Branch County Circuit Court.
18-year-old Adrian Christopher Crabb of Leesburg, Indiana is facing six charges including two counts of concealing and receiving stolen property.
He is also facing charges of carrying a concealed weapon, resisting and obstructing, possession of burglary tools and possession of meth.
His bond is $200,000. A Circuit Court pre-trial conference for Crabb has been scheduled for November 27, 2017.
Crabb was one of two suspects arrested by Michigan State Police. 19-year-old Kaleb Perry of Syracuse, Indiana was charged with possession of burglary tools, motor vehicle theft and smuggling contraband into the jail.
Perry has entered into a plea bargain with prosecutors. He is scheduled to be sentenced next Monday.
Troopers say they found a meth pipe and two handguns that were said to be stolen.
The vehicle was allegedly taken without the permission of the owner.
