COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch Intermediate School District Board of Trustees approved having Tower-Pinkster Architects and Engineers provide the drawings and specifications so that the district can bid out the replacement of the Branch Area Careers Center roof.
Business Manager Diane Shiery said the bids should go out sometime after the holidays.
One of the part of the roof had to replaced following damage from last March’s wind storm when gusts got up to over 60 miles an hour.
The entire project is expected to cost about $600,000.
A roof report prepared last year by Master Tech identified the need for a new roof by 2023.
The board did not take action on a request from Master Tech to serve as the project manager.
