COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Christmas maybe less than four weeks away but it felt more like spring Tuesday.
The high in Coldwater as recorded by the National Weather Service at the Branch County Memorial Airport just after 1:00 p.m. was 65 degrees, almost 25 degrees above the normal high for the date.
Tuesday’s high was not a record. According to www.intellicast.com, Coldwater’s record high for November 28th is 70 which was set in 1905.
While we may not get into the 60’s, forecasters say warmer than normal highs in the 40’s are expected into early next week. The long range forecast is calling for temperatures to get back to more seasonal readings late next week.
