QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – Tim Miner was named by the Quincy Community Schools Board of Education Monday night, filling the vacancy created when Rowdy Gibson recently had to step down after moving out of the district.
Miner is the Branch County Emergency Management Coordinator. He was one of nine persons who applied for the open position.
All nine were interviewed by the board Monday evening.
Gibson resigned after serving on the board since July 2013. The position needed to be filled until the General Election in November 2018.
