ALLEN PARK, MI (WTVB)- Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was limited in practice as he deals with a hand injury, but still threw the ball to receivers yesterday. Stafford’s throwing hand was stepped on in the fourth quarter of last week’s loss to Baltimore and he’s had his fingers taped up during drills this week.
Defensive end Ziggy Ansah, guard T.J. Lang and tackle Rick Wagner did not practice for the second straight day because of injuries.
Detroit, 6-6 this year, takes on the 4-8 Buccaneers in Tampa Bay Sunday.
