COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Legg Middle School boys basketball squads faced Marshall Monday.
The 8th Grade A team won 42-38. Aaron May had 12 points while Gage McNew added 11 points. Evan Sloane grabbed seven rebounds. Aiden Marsden, Ethan Crabtree and Owen Tom all had three assists. Crabtree also had four steals. The Cards are 10-1 and finish the season at home Wednesday against Jackson Lumen Christi.
The Legg 8th grade B team ran their record to 10-1 with a 36-28 victory at Marshall. Gavin Budd had 11 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Gage Rodgers added eight points. The Cards will close their season Wednesday at home vs Lumen Christi.
The Legg 7th grade A team lost to Marshall 56-40. Hunter Munson pumped in 16 points to lead the scoring. Elijah Sloan added 12 points. Their next and final game is Wednesday at Jackson Middle School.
The Legg 7th grade B team lost to Marshall 39-26. Hamid Abdulla had 13 points, 10 rebounds and seven steals while Nasser Saeed had seven points. Eduardo Arroyo had nine rebounds. The next game is Wednesday at Jackson Catholic.
