COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Board of Commissioners decided put off a large amount of requests to reclassify employees in four county offices during their work session Thursday.
County Administrator Bud Norman felt Commissioners needed more time to go over at least 35 pages of requests from the Prosecutor, Treasurer, Clerk and Circuit Court offices. In addition, Commission Chair Ted Gordon will not be at next Tuesdays meeting.
Norman said the requests have a lot of implications when it comes to finances and personnel. The requests are expected to come back before the Commissioners during their January 4th work session.
