COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Zoning Board of Appeals is scheduled to take action on three agenda items this Wednesday evening.
One of them will be a two foot dimensional height variance so that the Chicago Street Pub can install a six foot high privacy fence for a designated smoking area on the south side of property.
Business owner Steve Myers is making the request because to many people are blocking the entrance while smoking.
The designated smoking area is designed to contain the crowd in a fenced in area and stop patrons from going to the liquor store next door and drinking in the Pub’s parking lot.
Also on the Wednesday agenda will be a 20 foot dimensional height variance request from the owners of the Best Western hotel so that they can build a 35 foot high sign.
In addition, the Coach Eby Youth and Family Center is asking for a two foot dimensional height variance a six foot tall decorative fence that would enclose ground-mounted HVAC equipment.
