CAMDEN TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department says they had to handle 16 traffic accidents Tuesday morning due to the black ice conditions.
The most serious accident took place in Camden Township just before 8:00 a.m. when a vehicle driven by 54-year-old Jeffrey Robert Miller of Reading skidded on McCallum Street and went off the pavement.
The website Hillsdale Watch reports Miller’s vehicle crossed the center line and hit a fence which caused it to roll over. Miller was ejected as the vehicle came to rest on its roof.
He was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken by the Reading Emergency unit to an out of state hospital.
