COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) held their annual Christmas party and installation of board members November 30 at Broadway Grille in Coldwater.
Jerry Ford installed the new officers and directors. New board members are: President Debbie Lounds-Bowers, Vice President Brian George, Treasurer Carri Foley, Secretary Jill Bowers, Directors Bruce Hauska, Joi Villa, Karmen Case, Angelia Marsh, and Affiliate Director Lucy Lamson.
Bruce Hauska and Bea Wilber were honored for their Emeriti Status, along with 45 Years Ken Keeton, 35 Years Nancy Aker, 30 Years Debbie Lounds-Bowers and Doug Campbell, 25 Years Valerie Proctor and Linda Shaffer, 15 years Craig Hilbert, 10 years Beverly Stroupe, Douglas Harvey, Jami Lind, James Borden and Travis Hampton, 5 years William Swallow, Ryan Vella, Cathy Gordon, Ted Gordon and Angelia Marsh.
Also Jerry Ford was presented with a commemorative award for 50 years as a REALTOR®.
President Debbi Bowers recognized outgoing board members Pam Ashman, James Bowers, James Borden and Jami Lind for their contributions to the BCAR during their tenure on the board.
The President’s Award was presented to Carri Foley for her contributions to the BCAR. The Affiliate of the Year Award went to Century Bank and Trust and was presented to Josh Jones, and the Realtor of the Year Award was presented to Pam Ashman.
A live auction of items donated by businesses in the area raised over $9000.00. Three charities each received a $3000.00 check. Those charities were the Branch County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (BCCADV) for the “ALTRUSA Teen Share”, the BCCADV “Back Pack Buddies” which covers Quincy, Coldwater and Bronson, and the Branch County Community Foundation for the “Foster Care Enrichment Fund”.
