COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A 71-year-old man was injured Wednesday night when he was struck by a turning vehicle in downtown Coldwater’s Four corners intersection.
Coldwater City Police are investigating the vehicle-pedestrian injury accident that happened at around 8:15 p.m.
Police say a 68-year-old woman was making a left hand turn onto West Chicago from Division when the man was struck.
The unidentified victim was transported by Life Care Ambulance to the Community Health Center of Branch County. He was later transferred to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo for treatment of broken bones.
The driver was cited for careless driving. Coldwater firefighters were also called to the scene.
