COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The new year means a changing of the guard on the Board of Directors for the Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce.
Russ Hickey from Infinisource is the outgoing Board Chair. He says the last year has featured a growth in membership.
Hickey also pointed out “Entertainment Under The Stars” increased from four weeks to six weeks this summer, and there are plans in 2018 to increase it to eight weeks. The Downtown Farmers Market was also a big success with an average of 750 people per week.
Quinn White from Southern Michigan Bank and Trust is the incoming Board Chair, which means a different look for the Chamber board.
Hickey will be the Past Chair while Paul Plant will be the Vice Chair and Diane Gibbs will serve as the Second Vice Chair.
Jamie Engel and Raquel Rodriguez will take over seats on the Chamber board as the terms for Brad Rockey and Jay Johnson will be ending.
January’s Chamber events include Icefest January 27, 2018, which will include a soup cookoff, a pub crawl and family fun activities throughout the day.
